Well this is my first post and I thought I would start off with our family camping trip. I get sooooo excited when it comes to camping. Always looking to find new and improved ways to make the experience better. Hopefully I will have better pictures to post from this trip in June. My husband isn’t too fond of camping, but tolerates it for the girls. Anything I ask him to do, no problem.
For the past two years we have been camping at Harper’s Ferry KOA with our family of about 35-40 people. Some sleep in cabins and some in tents. This place is about 1.5 hours from home, so it’s very convenient for everyone. The campground is next to the state park, has free pancake breakfast every morning, activities for the kids, jumping pillow and a pool. The kids stay busy. This year I am hoping to participate in some of the family activities the park service offers.
Anywho, this years glamping experience will just be a little more decorating. Last year, I added a camp kitchen to my arsenal and I love it. It’s the Cabela’s Deluxe Campers Kitchen, but the one I purchased is green. I LOVE IT!! It holds all our food and the sink and counter space come in handy instead of using the picnic table. This year, I plan to add more solar fairy lights, sew a bunting banner and a few decorative touches from home. Trying to stay on a budget.
